I wanted to make a summer project. i wanted to be fun and if possible to combine playing in the sea. so i made this toy boat out a few scrap spruce pieces and an oak dowel.. I printed a second template and cut out the middle to make the top of the boat. i put this on a piece on 1/2" plywood and cut it out with a jigsaw. i drilled a few holes in the middle to make things easier when cutting the curves..
